U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was interrupted several times by protesters inside a rally Tuesday evening, as hundreds clashed with police outside the event in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
In the grandstands around the stage, over a dozen protesters held up banners that read, “Trump is a Fascist”, «Undocumented Unafraid» and «We’ve Heard Enough.»

At least three protesters were forcefully removed by police inside the Trump rally after they refused to leave.
An unconfirmed number of arrests were made.
Meanwhile, outside Tuesday’s rally, anti-Trump protesters and police clashed when protesters tried to storm the Albuquerque convention center, calling for an end to the Trump rally.
Police in riot gear and on horseback attacked the protesters with pepper spray and what appeared to be tear gas.

Protesters also burned T-shirts and other items carrying Trump’s catchphrase, «Make America Great Again».
«The people of Albuquerque specifically do not want Donald Trump in our city,» one woman told NBC News.
New Mexico’s population is almost half Latino, mostly of Mexican descent, and polls show they are overwhelmingly against Trump.
«Donald Trump cannot come to our city after calling us rapists,» the protester said.
